Not as expected, i tried egg chicken chowmin and schezwan chicken. Chicken was not fresh, at least 2/3 days old. Though there was a long waiting for table, as it is a popular joint, still they dont use fresh chicken. Disappointing. Quality was not up to the mark with priceing but quantity was. Service was good and prompt. Ambience is also good. If ever i visit that joint again, at least expect some fresh food.

Joy Ma !!! The atmosphere is really very good. The temple territory is neat and clean. The inside of the temple is large. There is ‘NAT MANDIR ‘ for the pilgrims who can take rest .The mandir is situated by the river side. The cool breeze of the GANGA and the atmosphere gives me the chill. You can feel the super natural power there.

Gurusaday Museum
Gurusaday Museum, Joka, Kolkata has permanently shut down. The museum is closed for visitors and the place is in ruins laying in isolation. I was informed that after a legal case in 2022, the administration went away. No government authority takes care. The antiques and artefacts have been wasted and lie in ruins. It is located in Bratachary Gram, near 3A Thakurpukur Bus stand.
Parnashree Vivekananda Kanan
A big lake with a walking pavement plus park as it’s perimeter; that sums up Parnashree Vivekananda Kanan (park). Morning and evening walk by the young, elderly and the fitness freaks is a common feature. Playground for pre/primary schoolers is on the east side, very visible and well lit. Props and equipment were brightly painted and functioning; kids were enjoying themselves. Further down is the aquatics centre with facilities for kayaking and swimming (seasonal – though the water is a dense green).
